Background: For my baccalaureate degree I attended Concordia University Wisconsin where I received my degree in early childhood education and minor in special education. A few years later I continued my education at Concordia University Chicago and received my masters in special education. Outside of teaching I really enjoy reading, baking, and being crafty.
I started my journey at Zion-Concord fresh out of college in 2011 as the Pre-Kindergarten teacher. I am still blessed to be teaching Pre-K about Christ and how great He is.
Teaching Philosophy: I believe that children learn the best through play. It is through play and hands-on learning that they are able to make deeper discovers and connections to the material. Being able to aide in the children’s growth with Christ is an awesome responsibility that I cherish.
