Lutheran Service Book

 

Zion Lutheran Church worships using the Lutheran Service Book (LSB), which is the newest official hymnal of the Lutheran Church Missouri-Synod as of 2004. The LSB contains 5 settings for the divine service, over 600 hymns, most of the 150 Psalms, as well as the daily services: Matins, Vespers, and Compline. Also included are other orders of service including: Holy Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Matrimony (Marriage), Funeral, the Litany, Corporate and Individual Confession and Absolution, among others. Luther's Small Catechism is also part of the Lutheran Service Book.
