Position:  Principal

 

​Background:  Anne Castellanos is very excited to serve as the principal of Zion-Concord Lutheran School for the 2023-2024 school year. For the past six years, Anne has worked at Queen of the Rosary School in Elk Grove Village as a Spanish teacher and assistant principal. Anne has also worked as a math interventionist at W.A. Johnson School in Bensenville and a summer camp director at the Elk Grove Park District. She completed her undergraduate education in Elementary Education and Spanish as well as a Master's degree in Teacher Leadership at Elmhurst University, a Master's degree in Principal Preparation at Concordia University, and is currently working towards a PhD in Literacy, Language, and Culture at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Anne loves working with students, parents, and teachers to create the best possible learning environment for children, and she cannot wait to make this upcoming school year a wonderful one for Zion-Concord's students.
